Vibe Flop Run Deepens As Film Falls To Rs 1 Crore On Monday, Week One Heads For Rs 11 Crore

The early weekend lift is already fading for Vibe. After showing some movement through Saturday and Sunday, the film hit a far less encouraging note on Monday with Rs 1 crore nett, a weekday number that pushes its box office run deeper into flop territory and raises fresh pressure on the days ahead.

That Monday total matters because the film no longer has the cushion of offer-driven weekend footfalls. What remains is the raw strength of audience interest, and right now that looks limited. Vibe has beaten the competition in the marketplace, but the run is not showing the kind of appreciation or hold that can turn a soft opening into a stable theatrical performer.

Monday Trend Signals Trouble

The film had posted approximately Rs 1.85 crore nett on Friday, improved to Rs 2.75 crore nett on Saturday, and added Rs 3 crore nett on Sunday. That gave Vibe a respectable weekend pattern on paper, but the real test began once the weekday cycle started.

Monday’s Rs 1 crore nett has now exposed the fragility of that weekend build. For a film hoping to convert early traction into a longer run, the drop is not strong enough to inspire confidence. Film will not do even half of business of Kunal’s directorial Madgaon Express.

The challenge is not just the fall itself, but the fact that the film has not generated the audience backing needed to hold firmly once the initial push is over.

The Four-Day Position After Monday

After four days, Vibe has collected Rs 8.60 crore nett in India. The current trend points to a first-week finish of around Rs 11 crore nett, which leaves the film with very little room to shift the conversation around its theatrical run.

At this level, the box office picture becomes less about daily spikes and more about whether the film can avoid a sharper weekday slide. A steady hold from here would at least help it close the week on expected lines, but any meaningful drop over Tuesday and Wednesday would put even that modest target under pressure.

Day 1: 1.85 cr

Day 2: 2.75 cr

Day 3: 3.00 cr

Day 4: 1.00 cr

Total: 8.60 crore nett

What The Second Weekend Now Depends On

The next phase for Vibe is not about a dramatic turnaround but about survival. If the film can protect its weekday base and reach the second weekend without further erosion, it may still find some support from limited competition. But that window only stays open if the film remains stable over the next few days.

A weak second Friday would all but confirm that the film’s run has flattened too early. That is why the immediate focus is now on hold rather than growth. Vibe needed Monday to suggest staying power, but instead it has left the film entering the rest of the week with the box office already working against it.
