Class of ’83 is a production by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. It is the story of a hero policeman (Bobby Deol), who’s shunted to a punishment posting. How he takes things from there creating a team of policemen is the story all about.
Bobby Deol is seen playing a dean amd the trailer tells that this will be a badass comeback by Bobby Deol. We can also see Annup Sonii in the trailer donning the role of a politician. The story is about the time when Mumbai was still addressed as Bombay.
Vijay Singh aka Bobby Deol decides to create a secret squad of officers. The squad will have the freedom to conduct encounters of criminals and gangsters without any restrictions. His mission is to kill five members of a crime ring who are extremely dangerous to the city, Bombay.
The story of the film is adapted from Hussain Zaidi’s book, Class Of 83: The Punishers Of Mumbai Police.
The background score throughout the trailer keeps you hooked. The trailer definitely leads our expectations high to believe that this will be an interesting tale to watch.
Apart from Deol and Sonii, the film also stars Vishwajeet Pradhan, Joy Sengupta, Bhupendra Jadawat, Ninad Mahajani, Hitesh Bhojraj, Sameer Paranjape and Prithvik Pratap.
The project is backed by superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s banner Red Chillies Entertainment. It is all set to release on Netflix on August 21, 2020. The film is a direction by Atul Sabharwal.
