There have been rumors that Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte will star in a Netflix film called Monica, O My Darling. The film has now been officially announced.

Radhika Apte, who has omnipresence on Netflix, tweeted, “It’s Radflix and thrills time again! Monica, O My Darling stars Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, Sikandar Kher, Sukant Goel, Bagavathi Perumal, and Zayn Marie Khan and is directed by Vasan Bala.
The film’s title, Monica, O My Darling, is reminiscent of the song Piya Tu Ab To Aaja from Caravan (1971). We’re curious if the movie will feature a reconstructed version of the song.
