After the announcement of Gulabo Sitabo and Shakuntala Devi getting a direct OTT release, another movie is making its way to release on Netflix. Netflix aquired rights of Janhvi Kapoor starrer Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
This Sharan Sharma directorial is based on the story of Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena who, along with Srividya Rajan, became the first Indian women fighter pilots to venture into a war zone. Gunjan rescued soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was honoured with the Shaurya Vir award for displaying courage and grit during the war.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a joint production of Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi.
