Earlier today we have reported that producer Mukesh Bhatt has announced that Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Sadak 2 will have an OTT release. Talking about the digital release Mukesh Bhatt said, “It (number of COVID-19 cases) is increasing day-by-day instead of subsiding. In this situation do you think the theatres will open? And even if they do and Sadak 2 is released, will people go to watch it? People have to protect their families. Today, life is more important”.

The film is a sequel to Mahesh Bhatt directorial 1991 film Sadak. Mahesh Bhatt is making a comeback as a director with the film after almost two decades.
Sadak 2 is set to be prime on Disney+ Hotstar from July 10.
