For the third week of November, there are a few fascinating OTT releases planned. Here’s a quick rundown of the series, documentaries, and movies to look out for this week on streaming platforms.

Dhamaka:

The film stars Kartik Aaryan as Arjun Pathak, an ambitious former news anchor who is granted a second chance to go live on prime-time television after a terrorist calls him with a bomb threat. The film, directed by Ram Madhvani of Aarya and Neerja fame, also stars Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar, and Vishwajeet Pradhan from Sacred Games. Puneet Sharma and Madhvani collaborated on Dhamaka. Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Films and Ram Madhvani Films have financed the film.

Most Eligible Bachelor:

The romantic comedy was released in theatres. Though the critics weren’t too fond of it, the fans loved it, and it is claimed to be Akhil Akkineni’s biggest hit to date. This love storey is developed for the charisma of Nagarjuna and Amala’s son. The film, which stars the lovely Pooja Hegde opposite him, is about an NRI who returns to India for his wedding. He falls in love with a stand-up comedian while looking for the perfect companion. Things, however, go horribly wrong along the way.

In such stories, director Bommarillu Bhaskar is the most sure-footed. One of the major elements of this feel-good film is Gopi Sundar’s music.

Adbhutham:

Shivani, the daughter of Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, makes her acting debut in this film. The stakes for this star daughter are high, especially since her Telugu debut (Two States) was postponed. She reportedly became depressed as a result of this (her Tamil film, too, did not happen). With all of this in mind, it’s clear that the picture has a lot riding on it in terms of Shivani. Her second Telugu film, WWW, is also set to the theatres.

Adbhutham falls into the fail-safe romance category for newbies. It’s a sweet love storey about two young people who, by chance, end up with the same mobile phone number.

Oka Chinna Family Story:

One of the appealing twists taken by the Telugu cinema industry is toward delightful family-oriented entertaining storylines. Middle Class Dreams, C/O Kanchrapalem, and Jathi Ratnalu are just a few examples. The online series Oka Chinna Family Story belongs to such genre, as the title indicates.

This family drama has a romantic element to it and is full of fun and joy. In essence, it is about a man and his mother starting on an adventure journey in order to return a large loan quickly. However, along the way, they encounter a variety of intriguing circumstances that provide both food for thought and, of course, entertainment.

Your Honour Season 2:

In the courtroom thriller series that got great reviews in its first season, Jimmy Shergill reprises his role as judge Bishan. The series also stars Gulshan Grover, Zeishan Quadri, Mahie Gill, Mita Vashisht, Suhasini Mulay, Richa Pallod, and Pulkit Makolin. ‘Your Honor’ is a licenced adaptation of the Israeli television series ‘Kvodo.’ E. Niwas is in charge of the Indian counterpart.
