Indra Kumar directed Thank God stars Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh. It is set to be released on October 25 coinciding with Diwali. Ajay Devgn plays the deity Chitragupt, while Malhotra as comman man who hangs between life and death.
It’s expected to open at 13 cr on Day One of its release, with screen size amounting to 3200 across India. It is regarded as one of the biggest openings for Ajay Devgn and Siddharth Malhotra.

Its release path could be hindered by a clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu, though Diwali festival could accomodate two more films. It’s important to note that it is surrounded by controversies on Chitragupt character.
Thank God has been made with a budget of approximately 70 crore, whereas Ram Setu has reportedly been made with 125 crore plus. Notably, Ajay Devgn has a great record of his films like Son of Sardaar, All the best, Golmaal again proved hits on Diwali. It could emerge out stronger because of consistent trailer, song launches. Interestingly, it has the popular ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ track too.
