Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer is here & it’s a clear attempt at passing the nostalgic supernatural feels to a generation who are still not aware of it. It shows how the relatives of Dr. Egon Spengler (the late Harold Ramis), from the initial parts, shifts to Oklahoma.
They find a ghost-trap and do what they’re best at, bust them. As the family arrives at an old farm, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters,” director Jason Reitman said in a leading Hollywood portal.
In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Carrie Coon portrays the role of a mom to her two kids in Mckenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard. Stranger Things’ Mike is playing the role of Wolfhard in the film. It’s a similar zone for him and will surely get a huge fan following to back him up.
Director Jason Reitman has already clarified that this story doesn’t follow the universe of the 2016’s film. It follows the original narrative from the first two films. Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Sigourney Weaver from the original are expected to make a comeback.
