Actor turned producer Vivek Oberoi and has recently announced back to back two massive projects, ‘Iti’ and ‘Rosie: The Saffron Chapter’.
Talking about his production house Oberoi Mega Ent. to a media portal, the actor said, “We want to develop stories that are entertaining, groundbreaking and relevant in today’s time.”
Vivek further said that in the coming time his company will be bringing new style, new concepts, which could range from a book adaptation to quirky social drama or even a documentary as long as it is unique.
Talking about working with Vishal Mishra and Prerna Arora, Vivek said, “ The credit of the film has to go entirely to the director and the writer. When Vishal narrated me the story. The minute that took me through the plot line or the story arc I just instinctively knew that I had to produce it. Vishal is one of those rare directors who is always ready to explore new ideas. while Raina is very passionate producer and hence having her in the team is likely a cherry on the cake with Tim Mandiraa it is just a complete package that the films like Iti and Rosie needed”.
Talking about OTT he said, “The audience is evolving and a large part of that evolution is technologically driven. We want to be with the audience. The objective is to be interesting stories to them irrespective of platform theatre or OTT.”
Well, on the ongoing nepotism debate Vivek said, “I believe that talent knows no boundaries and if one can come from anywhere in any walk of life and buy talent I mean actor writer-director anyone who has a unique voice our vision with Oberoi mega entertainment is to recognize the nature of new talent.”
The posters of both the films are out, however, the release date of the films are yet to be disclosed.
