Fans couldn’t get enough of the pictures, with one commenting, “Such a magical look.” Kareena’s candid post quickly went viral, and the comments section was flooded with heart emojis.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. The makers of the film added to the hype by dropping a new poster on social media, teasing, “The thrilling chase for the truth is about to begin with Detective Bhamra! Here’s What Kareena Kapoor Said About Her Role In The Film
Before the trailer release, Kareena spoke about her role on Netflix’s The Actors’ Roundtable 2023. She revealed that her character in the film is a grieving mother who turns detective after a tragic event.
In the movie’s opening scene, her character’s child is shot, pushing her to flee her hometown and take on a complex new case in a different town.
Discussing her role, Kareena said, “I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan.”
She admitted that it was a challenging role due to the intense grief her character experiences but added, “It’s a career-defining role for me and one of my best characters.”
Kareena even asked the director to extend the role into a four-part series because she wasn’t ready to say goodbye to her character just yet. That level of dedication has only added to the anticipation surrounding the film.
