The comedy movie ‘Govinda Naam Mera’, starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani, has received a significant update. Instead of going to a theatre, viewers will now be able to see the movie at home. In reality, the movie won’t be released in cinemas; instead, it will shortly be available on OTT. On his social media accounts, the actor posted details regarding this.
Vicky Kaushal announced the film’s OTT release in a video he posted on his Instagram account. He appears in this video alongside Karan Johar. Karan is seen telling Vicky about Govinda during their amusing talk. Vicky feels inspired to direct Govinda’s biopic when he first hears his name, but Karan then clarifies who actually makes biopics. Following this, Vicky appears to understand what Karan is teaching her about Govinda, but the reality is much different.
Shashank Khaitan, the director of film expressed his excitement for Govinda Naam Mera by saying, “Working on this new genre of comedy was fascinating and with a talented star cast, only made it easy. Govinda Naam Mera is a complete family entertainer which will keep the viewers guessing until the end.
