The trailer for Luv Ranjan’s much-anticipated film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ got released recently and it is already making headlines. While some fans praised the Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor film, others chastised the director for portraying women negatively.
Ranjan’s films include Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Oftentimes Ranjan gets asked about the characters of his movies always depicting women as the ‘villain’. He was asked the same question at the trailer launch event for the upcoming film.
At the press conference, Director Luv Ranjan replied to the criticism, claiming that ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ evens things out because the film’s two leads play each other. Shraddha Kapoor, who plays a villain in the romantic comedy film, also attempted to dismiss the ‘villain’ question in jest.
According to Desi Martini, At a press conference, Shraddha trolled a reporter and said, “Aapko pata hain na mere dad kaun hain?”
