South Actor Mohanlal is all set to reunite with the ‘Drishyam’ director Jeethu Joseph for his upcoming ‘Malayalam’ directional ‘Ram’. Recently some similarities between Joseph’s film and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ appeared online after the storyline of their upcoming project ‘Ram’ was leaked on social media.
The plot of the movie was got leaked on social media by a Twitter user named ‘AB George’.

“The film focuses on the efforts of RAW to track down an agent and former spy of the organization. Ram Mohan, who went rogue and disappeared. The military needs his mental and physical abilities to deal with Bael, a terrorist group that possesses nuclear weapons capable of destroying an entire nation,” the user tweeted.

However, once the post about Mohanlal’s upcoming movie went viral, a number of Twitter users began comparing it to the plot of Bollywood’s most recent hit, “Pathaan,” in which Shah Rukh plays a RAW field officer who fled to exile.

Despite this connection, a few commenters supported “Ram” by emphasising how commonplace similar themes are in spy movies. A twitter user wrote, “For some who claim that the plot of Pathaan is similar to other Mission Impossible films, it doesn’t really matter as long as the execution is fresh and effective.”
