Actress Ankita Lokhande To Play Female Lead In Randeep Hooda Starreer ‘Swatantraveer Savarkar’

Since its first image was released, Veer Savarkar’s biopic “Swatantraveer Savarkar” has been making headlines. Savarkar, played by Randeep Hooda, will appear in the movie. The film is also being directed by Randeep. Recent information regarding the movie’s female cast has surfaced. In “Swatantraveer Savarkar,” the title of the female lead has been chosen: Ankita Lokhande. Ankita’s supporters are expressing their joy over this news.

Ankita Lokhande will be seen in the lead role in the film. The makers have also shared Ankita’s retro look from the film.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Ankita has expressed her curiosity on this. She said, “I love essaying challenging and pivotal characters that not just take the narrative forward but also leave an impact on the audience. Swatantra Veer Savarkar is one such inspiring story that needs to be told and I’m happy to be associated with it”.

It was previously rumoured that Randeep Hooda will also take up the film’s director. After director Mahesh Manjrekar left the movie, Randeep took over this duty. He will make his first career as a director.

The movie has been under production since September. The movie’s release date has not yet been disclosed. Sandeep Singh and Anand Pandit are directing the movie. Ankita previously appeared in Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika as Jhalkari Bai.

After actor Sushant Singh’s passing, she garnered a lot of media attention. The two collaborated on the television series “Pavitra Rishta.” They had both been in relationships for a very long time. She tried her hand at TV before moving on to try her luck in movies.
