Aditya Chopra Recommended SRK’s ‘Dance Pe Chance’, Reveals Nostalgic Salim Merchant, Says, ‘How You Teach A Child To Dance’

Both composed ‘Dance Pe Chance’ within a day or two.

Everyone remembers the favourite song ‘Dance Pe Chance’ from ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. Salim-Sulaiman composed the film’s soundtrack and it became the first Bollywood soundtrack to be in the top 10 album sales on the iTunes Store.

Sulaiman stated how an incredibly written script makes the process of integration of songs feasible to the approach. The duo reminisced about taking up the dialogues from the film and making ‘Haula Haule’ and ‘Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte’.

“Aditya told us ‘Dance Pe Chance’ was how you teach a child to dance. It started off when he started giving us – put your left leg and put your left leg out put your left leg in and shake it all about. So, it started from there and I felt like it just happened like this melody just came about it,” Bollywood Hungama quoted him as saying.

Both composed ‘Dance Pe Chance’ within a day or two. However, the composition of ‘Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte’ took time. Sulaiman said that since they were composing and producing the music, the complete process was arduous for them.
