Aditya Roy Kapur is one of the most eligible bachelors in Bollywood. His great looks and muscles have earned him a strong female fan following. Kapur has shown off his acting chops in a variety of films from different genres. Now, there is great news for his hardcore fans as the actor has kick-started shooting for Anurag Basu‘s upcoming film Metro In Dino.
The filming began earlier this week in Goregaon, Mumbai. He was seen delivering an emotional scene during the film. Sara Ali Khan will be paired opposite him in the film and she will join the shooting later this weekend. Metro In Dino is a spiritual sequel to Basu’s 2007 drama film Life In a…Metro which went on to become a cult favorite. For the sequel, Basu has mapped out a four-month shooting schedule.
According to reports, Kapur is planning to finish the film in one go before going into another project. This is mainly because the role is very demanding and it might take a toll on him emotionally. Well, these are the traits of a great actor and his fans are really excited to see him in a different avatar in this highly anticipated film. This will also be the first time when Kapur and Khan will be sharing the screen space together.
About Metro In Dino
Apart from Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, the film also stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. Pritam, who also composed the previous film, is serving as the music director in this film. Produced by Bhushan Kumar under T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, Metro In Dino is expected to release on December 8. Earlier, Kapur and Basu had collaborated in the 2020 black comedy film Ludo; it was released on Netflix.
