Just a few days ago, AR Rahman opened up about how he’s misinterpreted by some people in Bollywood industry. When he revealed that Shekhar Kapur retweeted his Tweet and said it is all because he won an Oscar. Check out the tweets here:

Now, Oscar award winner and sound designer & editor Resul Pookutty opened up about how the industry treated him. Resul won Oscar for the film Slumdog Millionaire for Best Sound Mixing along with Richard Pryke and Ian Tapp.

Taking to his Twitter account, Resul Pookutty responded to a tweet by filmmaker Shekhar Kapur where he mentioned that Oscar is the reason AR Rahman is left with less work in Bollywood.

Resule wrote, “Dear @shekharkapur ask me about it, I had gone through a near breakdown as nobody was giving me work in Hindi films and regional cinema held me tight after I won the Oscar… There were production houses told me at my face ”we don’t need you” but still I love my industry, for it….”
