Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Bawaal’ was slated to release on April 7th but now it has been postponed indefinitely. A release date will be announced later. Film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
Official announcement suggests that film is delayed due to technical issues and VFX. Varun’s last release ‘Bhediya’ suffered due to ‘Drishyam 2’ as film released a week after it and didn’t manage satisfactory numbers.
Varun Dhawan is also shooting for remake of cult series ‘Citadel’ along with Samantha. Janhvi had couple of releases last year and both were remakes from south. ‘Good Luck Jerry’ and ‘Mili’ remained below par in terms of appreciation.
It has to be noted that yesterday Kartik and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Shehzada’ postponed by a week in order to avoid onslaught from blockbuster ‘Pathaan’.
