Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was on a tour to Mumbai earlier this week. The agenda was to meet Hindi filmmakers and producers to about the Film City in Gautam Buddh Nagar in UP. Actor Akshay Kumar also met the CM and discussed his upcoming film Ram Setu and that he wanted to shoot in real locations.
Since the film is about Lord Ram in the consciousness and a journey of a man who is trying to discover whether Ram Setu is a myth or not.
To keep the film more grounded Akshay and director Abhishek Sharma wanted to shoot the film in real locations including Ayodhya.
Well, after meeting with Yogi Adityanath, the actor’s wish seems fulfilled. According to a daily, they want to kick off the shooting in UP in mid-2021.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will next star in Bellbottom, Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Sooryavanshi, and Bachchan Pandey.
