Varun Dhawan, who is a star in the currently running film Bhediya in theatres, and Anees, a prominent producer and director known for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, No Entry, Singh is King, Welcome, Welcome Back, have come to limelight together for the first time.
The latest bollywood news is that both Varun and Anees are teaming up for an action-comedy for the first time. Anees, who is popular for mastery in comedy movies, could take up Varun and will discover a new space in the genre. It could be a treat for his fans to see him collaborate with Anees.
“Varun and Anees are in talks to team up for the first time next year. Anees has been working to develop a one of its kind action comedy, and Varun has shown interest in this subject because it’s unique yet an out-and-out entertainer. He is waiting to hear the final narration and once that happens, the team would proceed to do the paperwork,” Pinkvilla quoted its source as saying.
According to Etimes, Kartik and Vicky said a ‘No’, then Varun agreed to it. It’s important to note that the Bhediya collected Rs 3.85 cr at the Box-office on Monday, seeing a 50% drop and will struggle for 50 cr nett lifetime, for a film which was expected to cross 100 cr.
The news on Varun and Anees teaming up for an action-comedy after the Monday records seems to be a management of the low performance, with an impression to create actor’s performance, especially in this genre, for upcoming projects.
