Haseen Dillruba, starred Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey in lead, is a crime cum romantic drama of wholly unsuitable couple who wed following an arranged marriage meet. It reportedly become the most watched Hindi movie on Netflix in year 2021.
Earlier in July last year, the lead actress of the film Taapsee Pannu has hinted at the possibility of the sequel of Haseen Dillruba. But Now, actor Vikrant Massey has confirmed that the second part of the movie will go on floors soon after we broke an exclusive a few months ago about the sequel and its actors.
Speaking at an event in IIT Bombay, Vikrant said, “I am confirming that it’s coming.” Sharing more about the second part, he said, “A lot of it is going to be really different. Except for me and Taapsee, there are so many new things. It’s another crazy experience. We had not kept expectations earlier too that it will be so loved, the story, the world around the story. The amount of love we got for the film we thought.”
The actor added, “We had left an interesting open ending buffer for a second part and how we can do that and luckily for us the audience responded and in 15 days now I am going to start the shoot for it. Please do go and watch the film,” he added.
Directed by Vinil Mathew and written by Kanika Dhillon, Haseen Dillruba also features Harshvardhan Rane, Aditya Srivastava and Dayashankar Pandey in a pivotal role. Meanwhile, Vikrant will be next seen in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail, Gaslight alongside Sara Ali Khan, and Sector 36.
