Bollywood is set to groove to Pakistani beats as Vidyut Jammwal’s upcoming action thriller, Crakk, gears up for a remake of Ali Zafar’s chart-topping song Jhoom. For the unversed, the original Jhoom, penned and performed by Zafar, became a global sensation, capturing hearts with its infectious melody and vibrant energy.

Ali Zafar Gives Thumps Up To Remix

A heartwarming exchange on X between renowned singers Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, and Ali Zafar has fueled excitement. Shreya tweeted, “I have always been a big fan of @AliZafarsays and the beautiful song Jhoom! It’s very close to my heart.. and I can’t wait for you all to listen to the song once again as a part of the film Crakk.”

Adding to it, Vishal Mishra wrote, “Have always been a fan of #diljhoom & singing it with my fav @shreyaghoshal was such an experience!Can’t wait for to you hear it.” reacting to the same, Pakistani singer tweeted, “Bro. Shine on. Love. Always.”

Pasoori Remix In Satyaprem Ki Katha Received Criticism

Kartik Aaryan starred in Satyaprem Ki Katha, a romantic tale featuring Kiara Advani as his co-star. The film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and helmed by director Sameer Vidwans.

Pasoori was the most-Googled song of 2022. Sung by Pakistani singer Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, and was released in the eleventh season of Pakistan’s Coke Studio. Soon after its release, the song became an international sensation, and was trending on every social media platform.

However, fans of the singer and song were simply not happy with the fact that a remake of the beloved song was part of Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Pakistani fans bashed Bollywood for even considering to remake the song. Social media was flooded by angry fans who want to stop this alleged abomination from happening and ‘save Pasoori from Bollywood’.

Song didn’t do any wonder for the film as it received more hate than appreciation. Let’s see how is the reception of Jhoom in Crakk.
