In a thrilling piece of news for Bollywood fans, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan are set to reunite on screen for the upcoming Atlee-directed film Jawaan. The pair had previously set the charts on fire with their groovy number Jhoome Jo Pathaan from the Yashraj Films’ action entertainer Pathaan released on January 25. Now, they are all set to bring their chemistry to the big screen again with a racy massy number.
According to reports, shooting for the film will wrap up by April 5th, with only two songs left to shoot. The romantic number will feature Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara, while the other song will feature Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan in a massy track. The film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and other details about the film have been kept under wraps.
Jawaan reportedly follows the story of Shah Rukh Khan’s character, who plays a double role as a father and son. Deepika Padukone will play the role of his wife, who is killed, and the character goes on a mission to avenge her death. This will be Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s fifth collaboration after Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, and Pathaan.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film, which is set to hit screens on June 2, 2023. Pathaan’s Besharam Rang has already garnered over 391 million views on Yashraj Films’ official YouTube channel, while Jhoome Jo Pathaan has stamped 422 million views.
