Get ready for a power move from Bollywood’s newest sensation. After the roaring success of Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday is shifting into a high-energy action romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. A detailed recce across major English cities is reportedly planned for December, with principal photography targeting early 2026. The aim is clear: deliver a big-screen entertainer that blends heart, scale and slick action.
Why This Update Matters
Saiyaara established Ahaan as a Gen Z crowd-puller, and this next step builds smartly on that momentum. The new film looks set to retain the romance while introducing punchy, grounded action to position him as a versatile mainstream lead. With veteran backing from Aditya Chopra and a director known for muscular, emotion-led spectacles, the project signals trust, ambition and long-term planning for theatrical audiences.
Location And Schedule
The makers are eyeing London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds for a month-long recce to map sequences that use real streets, skylines and urban textures as living backdrops. Most of the shoot is likely to happen in England to maintain a cohesive visual identity. If schedules hold, the cameras roll in early 2026 following final location locks, prep blocks and action breakdowns.
Action Prep For Ahaan
This marks Ahaan’s first full-fledged leap into action. Training has reportedly focused on hand-to-hand combat and weapons basics so the choreography reads clean, fast and believable without losing the romance core. The goal is to showcase agility, intent and screen presence that complements a youthful love story rather than overwhelming it with over-the-top set pieces.
About The Project
The upcoming film pairs Saiyaara breakout Ahaan Panday with action specialist Ali Abbas Zafar for a contemporary action romance set largely in England. It is designed as a scale-driven, emotion-forward theatrical experience with strong youth appeal. More official announcements about the full cast and producers are awaited.
