After Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday Finishes Two-Month Uk Leg Of Ali Abbas Zafar’S Action Drama

Ahaan Panday’s post-Saiyaara run is gathering speed. The young actor has now wrapped a substantial United Kingdom schedule for his untitled film with Ali Abbas Zafar, marking a big step forward for a project that has quietly been taking shape on an ambitious canvas. With Sharvari joining him on this leg, the film appears to be moving through production with the kind of scale and momentum that signals a major theatrical play.

The overseas shoot stretched across roughly 60 days, with the final leg unfolding in Birmingham. That closing phase included a romantic song and dramatic scenes featuring Ahaan and Sharvari, giving the schedule a blend of spectacle and emotional texture. Ahaan plays a gangster in the film, placing him in a distinctly different zone from the romantic image that powered Saiyaara.

Uk Schedule Wrap Brings The Film’S Scale Into Focus

What began earlier this year as a Mumbai start has now rolled through an expansive UK leg, underlining the film’s large-scale design. The untitled romantic action drama is backed by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films and stars Ahaan Panday, Sharvari, Aaishvary Thackeray and Bobby Deol. With a March 26, 2027 theatrical release now locked in, the production is clearly being positioned as one of the banner’s big-screen offerings for next year.

The project also marks Ali Abbas Zafar’s return to Yash Raj Films after earlier collaborations such as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. That history adds extra weight to this film, especially with Ahaan stepping into only his second feature. Speaking about the actor, Ali had said, “What I love about Ahaan is his sincerity. In today’s time, when everything can feel performative and an act, he brings a kind of old-school honesty to his performance, like the romantic heroes we have grown up watching and loving. The camera picks up on that. You can’t act vulnerable on screen, it doesn’t land and he isn’t afraid to be vulnerable which is incredible.”

That quote offers a useful clue to the film’s appeal. While the new project is mounted as a romantic action drama, Ali’s description suggests the makers are leaning just as heavily on Ahaan’s emotional openness as on the film’s action-led surface. It gives the pairing with Sharvari added intrigue and makes the Birmingham schedule feel less like a routine song shoot and more like a key emotional stretch of the story.

The Road Ahead For Ahaan Panday

With Saiyaara behind him, Ahaan’s screen journey is still in its early, carefully shaped phase. His debut feature, directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, gave him a strong entry into the Hindi film space, and this Ali Abbas Zafar film now pushes him toward a more charged commercial register. The contrast between the two projects suggests a launch strategy built around range rather than repetition.

The road ahead already looks busy. This untitled Ali Abbas Zafar film is confirmed for a March 26, 2027 theatrical release, keeping him in the big-screen conversation as he builds on the momentum of his first film. He is also set to reunite with Saiyaara director Mohit Suri and co-star Aneet Padda for another intense love story, a move that keeps one foot in the emotionally driven space that first connected him with audiences, even as his current film points toward a darker, more action-heavy persona.
