Sajid Nadiadwala’s Son Subhan To Debut Opposite Ronit Roy’s Daughter Kiara Bose Roy In Aisi Deewangi

A new star pairing is taking shape in Bollywood, and this one comes with deep industry lineage on both sides. Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Kiara Bose Roy, daughter of actor Ronit Roy and actor Manasi Joshi Roy, has been cast opposite Subhan Nadiadwala in Aisi Deewangi, the film that marks producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s son’s acting debut.

The development adds fresh intrigue to a project that has already drawn attention since Subhan began shooting for the film in Mumbai in the last week of March 2026. With Shashank Khaitan directing the launch vehicle, the film now brings together two young faces from well known film families for what is shaping up to be a high visibility debut.

Kiara Bose Roy Joins Subhan’s Debut Film

What makes Kiara’s selection especially interesting is the confidence the team appears to have in the new pairing from the outset. A source said, “Kiara is very beautiful and very talented. Director Shashank Khaitan realized that she’s apt for the part and that’s how she came on board. They are confident that viewers will be blown away by her acting talent and screen presence.”

That line offers a clearer sense of what the makers saw in her beyond the family name. The choice suggests Khaitan was looking for a performer who could match the scale and freshness of a launch built around a new screen couple, rather than simply assembling a debut vehicle around pedigree alone.

Subhan, meanwhile, began filming the project on March 23, 2026. Trade and industry updates around the production confirmed that the first day involved a stylised action sequence mounted on a large scale, setting the tone for a launch that is clearly aiming for a strong theatrical impression.

A New Generation From Two Film Families

Kiara’s casting makes the film a notable coming together of two prominent entertainment lineages. She is the daughter of Ronit Roy and Manasi Joshi Roy, and on her mother’s side, she belongs to the celebrated Joshi family. Manasi is the daughter of veteran Gujarati film and theatre figure Arvind Joshi, who was also the father of actor Sharman Joshi. That gives Kiara a strong artistic inheritance extending across film, television, and stage.

For Sajid Nadiadwala, the project marks a significant personal and professional milestone as he introduces the third generation of his family into cinema. The film’s title also carries an emotional connection to his late wife Divya Bharti, taking its name from the iconic song Aisi Deewangi from Deewana. With Khaitan directing and the launch being mounted with visible scale, Aisi Deewangi already has the shape of a film designed to make its new lead pair count from day one.

Kiara Steps In With A Familiar Legacy

Kiara’s arrival does not feel like an isolated debut announcement. It lands within a family ecosystem that audiences already know well, which gives her launch an added layer of recognition even before the film reaches viewers. Ronit Roy has remained a visible presence across films and streaming titles in recent years, including Shehzada, Gumraah, and Bloody Daddy in 2023, keeping the family name closely tied to mainstream screen entertainment.

That familiarity, however, is only part of the story. With Aisi Deewangi, the spotlight shifts firmly to Kiara and Subhan as a new generation being positioned for a big screen entry with both nostalgia and expectation attached to it.
