Ajay Devgn, known as the Mass Maharaja of Bollywood, has emerged as the busiest actor in the industry since the pandemic, with numerous film projects in his pipeline. After the immense success of Drishyam 2, he has become one of the most sought-after stars in the post-pandemic era. Now, Devgn is shifting his focus towards working on film franchises. Following Singham Again announcement, he has started his next sequel Raid 2.
Ajay Devgn To Shoot Raid 2 In Rajasthan, Delhi, UP And Mumbai
Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat, close associates, are convinced that Raid, just like Drishyam, has achieved a revered status among viewers through digital platforms and television replays. Collaborating with director Rajkumar Gupta, they have initiated the development of Raid 2 almost 6-7 months back.
Gupta meticulously researched together various real-life incidents into the screenplay. The project is progressed positively as Devgn expressed satisfaction with the evolving script. According to a source, Rajkumar Gupta has discovered an element that surpasses the scale and excitement of the first installment.
Shoot of the film started today in Mumbai and film will be extensively shot across India in UP, Rajasthan, Delhi and Mumbai.
About Raid 2
Scheduled for 15th November 2024 release , Raid 2 is set to be a part of Ajay Devgn and Kumar Mangat’s agreement with Jio. In case you are unfamiliar, Devgn and Mangat have inked a digital deal with Jio Cinemas encompassing three films: Black Magic, Raid 2, and Drishyam 3. The shooting for the third installment of Drishyam is anticipated to begin toward the end of this year.
