Thank God is one of the most anticipated films of the year, with fans eagerly anticipating its release. The films stars Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles. The movie was announced in 2019 and was set to begin production in January 2020. The film was supposed to be released in May 2021, but the producers had to postpone their plans owing to a spike of COVID-19 cases.

Now, the latest update states that because Ajay Devgn is busy shooting his debut OTT show Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness, and Rakul is busy shooting Doctor G alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, the film’s shoot has been postponed again. The filming of Thank God will resume only after September 19th.

A part of the movie also needs to be shot in foreign locations. After the foreign travel restrictions are relaxed, the filmmakers will plan that. Thank God is reported to be a remake of Sorte Kugler, a Danish film.

Indra Kumar and Ajay Devgn have previously collaborated on films like as Ishq, Pyare Mohan, and Total Dhamaal.
