Diwali 2024 saw one of the biggest clashes as two big films – Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 locked horns at the box office. On November 1, when Ajay Devgn and Kartik Aaryan‘s films were released, it opened to a blockbuster opening and both the films have been performing well. However, in a recent interview, Ajay revealed that he wanted to avoid the clash but he couldn’t.

Recently, while speaking with ANI, Ajay Devgn accepted that things did not go as planned and they tried to avoid the clash during Diwali but it didn’t happen. He also mentioned that he never wants any film to lock horns at the ticket window as he believes that the industry suffers from this. He said, “I never want any film to clash at the box office because the industry somehow suffers from that. Given the theme of Singham Again, we couldn’t have given up on this date for release.”
However, he also mentioned that even though the films clashed, they are both doing well so it is all good.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty also talked about the same and mentioned that he is happy that people like his film. He also revealed that they tried to avoid the clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 but as Singham Again had a Diwali theme, they could not release the film any other time. “We tried to avoid the clash (with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3) but the only issue was that we had the theme of Diwali otherwise we could have released the film anytime. After a week, both the films created a revenue of over Rs 300 crores which is quite rare…,” Rohit told ANI.
Meanwhile, directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again boasts an ensemble cast featuring Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor among others.
