Ajay Devgn is presently busy shooting for Maidaan. It is a sports-based movie and also stars National Film Award winner Keerthy Suresh.

Directed by Amit Sharma the film is based on the Golden years of Indian Football and will see Ajay Devgn essay the role of the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
Rahim is also known as the father of Indian football. He also helped India to go on the top nation in football during that time.
The film is being produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta. While the screenplay and dialogues are written by Saiwyn Quadros and Ritesh Shah respectively.
The film is expected to release on November 27, 2020.
