Ajay Devgn is all set to bring his upcoming Period drama, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film is based on the story of a military leader in the Maratha Empire Tanaji Malusare.

While the film is all set to release next month, it dropped into trouble. According to the information, Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Koli Rajput Sangh has filed a petition in Delhi High Court.

As per the plea claims that the film has not shown the true lineage of Tanhaji Malusare in the film. The plea asked the Delhi High Court to seek a direction to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) not to grant a certificate for public viewing to the film.

As per the Akhil Bhartiya Kshtriya Koli Rajput Sangh, the makers of the film are incorrectly showing Tanhaji as belonging to the Maratha community when he, in fact, was a Kshatriya Mahadeo Koli.

The film is scheduled to be released on January 10 and no verdict has come till now.
