Earlier we brought to you the news that Ajay Devgn will begin filming for his digital debut, Rudra, in July. Rudra is an official remake of the British show Luther. The talented actor will appear in a very intense role, and filming for this ambitious production will take place over the course of two months.

Today, the director of the show, Rajesh Mapuskar revealed that they have started construction of sets from today and the show will go on floors soon.

Earlier it was reported that Ajay would charge Rs. 2 crores per episode on average. Hrithik and Akshay have followed a similar tactic of charging a bomb for their digital debut, and platforms are now more than willing to spend money to attract superstars onto their platforms, since their goal is to expand the reach of OTT in India’s interiors.
Rajesh Mapuskar is directing Rudra, which will be released before the end of 2021.
