Akshay & Bhumi to shoot final leg of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk

Akshay Kumar has just returned to Delhi from London, where he was filming Production 41 tentatively titled Cinderella with Ranjit Tiwari. He resumed filming alongside Bhumi Pednekar for Aanand L Rai’s Raksha Bandhan. We’ve learned that the film’s shoot will end on October 13th.

A source from the sets informs Mid-day, “Akshay and Bhumi have been shooting a song which will be shot over four days in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk. This is the final portion of the film after which we wrap the film on Wednesday. The fun song is being choreographed by Vijay Ganguly. Next, Akshay is expected to resume work on ‘Oh My God 2’ and ‘Ram Setu’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrrat Bharuccha.”

Directed by Aanand L Rai, Raksha Bandhan is presented and distributed by Zee Studios in association with Alka Hiranandani and Aanand L Rai. The film is a Colour Yellow Production in association with Cape of Good Films and written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon.

Meanwhile, Akshay had recently announced the wrap of his other film, #Production 41 over social media with a post that read, “Can’t believe it’s a wrap on #Production41! Grateful to have shot and completed a memorable journey with the loveliest team! Thank you for all the love, smiles and fun!”
