Part one was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 7.5 cr and earned Rs 17.8 cr, whereas Phir Hera Pheri’s budget stood at Rs 18 cr and collected Rs 69.12 cr at the Box-office. Akshay Kumar fans have released a letter to replace Farhad Samji (known for Housefull 4) in the Hera Pheri 3, which is reportedly to be titled as Hera Pheri 4. Earlier furious fans had started petition to replace him.

It was scheduled to go on floors in October 2023 but began shooting promo on February 21 at Empire Studio in Mumbai, where they also shot for Hera Pheri in 1999.
