Actors Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have reunited for Priyadarshan’s comedy-horror Bhooth Bangla. The pair shared a glimpse of the film’s Jaipur schedule, following their Mumbai shoot.
Paresh Rawal posted a photo with Akshay Kumar. He wrote, “A shining star enjoying winter sun at Jaipur with Mr FIT @akshaykumar on the shoot of Bhooth Bangla! (sic).”

The Jaipur schedule includes outdoor shoots at well-known landmarks, providing a vibrant cultural backdrop for the film. Directed by Priyadarshan, the story mixes elements of comedy and horror, exploring the haunted house genre with a light-hearted approach.
Akshay and Paresh have worked together in films like Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, OMG: Oh My God!, and Garam Masala. Bhooth Bangla continues their collaboration.

The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, along with Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films. Co-producers include Faara Sheikh and Vedant Baali. The story is written by Akash A Kaushik with the screenplay by Rohan Shankar, Abilash Nair, and Priyadarshan. Dialogues are penned by Rohan Shankar.
The film’s poster (previously released by the makers) teased a blend of eerie and humorous tones. Bhooth Bangla is scheduled for a theatrical release on 2 April 2026.

In addition to this project, Akshay Kumar is managing multiple films. He recently launched the trailer for his action drama Sky Force in Mumbai and announced his role as an antagonist in an upcoming horror-comedy franchise by Maddock Films.
Other films in Akshay’s line-up include Jolly LLB 3, Welcome to the Jungle, Housefull 5, and Hera Pheri 3.
