
Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha headed to Ayodhya for Ram Setu mahurat shot. Ram Setu director Abhishek Sharma recently announced that the team will shoot the mahurat shot in Ayodhya.
Akshay will be seen as playing an archaeologist in the film, other parts of the film will be shot in Mumbai. Talking to the official social media handle Akshay shares a photo of himself with the two leading ladies of the film boarding a private jet to Ayodhya.
Sharing the photo, Akshay wrote, “A special film, a special start…Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey begins. Need special wishes from all you guys (sic).”
Since the makers of the film want to take the blessings of Lord Ram, the mahurat shot is scheduled in Ayodhya.
While talking about the film director Abhishek Sharma said in an interview with a daily, “Akshay sir plays an archaeologist and his look and character is inspired by several Indian and international professional archaeologists who work in the field. In terms of both look and character, Akshay sir’s fans are in for a totally new avatar of his.”
He added, “Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharrucha will play strong, independent women with well-etched out parts.”
