Akshay Kumar is on a roll these days. The superstar was the first to start working when the whole Bollywood industry was on a break. Now he has become the first to finish a feature film amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
Khiladi Kumar completed his Scotland schedule for Bell Bottom and now returned to Mumbai. Now the actor has started working on his upcoming film Prithviraj.
According to the reports, director Chandraprakash Dwivedi kicked off 5 days schedule at the Yash Raj Films studio with Akshay and Sonu Sood. It has also been said that Sanjay Dutt, who is currently undergoing treatment for lung cancer, will return to the sets post Diwali.
“The creative and production design teams had been working relentlessly to ensure that the extravagant sets, which have been designed in keeping with the architectural style of the 12th century, were built by the first week of October. While debutant Manushi Chhillar, who plays Akshay’s love interest Sanyogita, will join the unit tomorrow, Sanjay Dutt will complete his portions only post Diwali,” the trade source was quoted as saying.
Chandraprakash was also quoted as saying, “We have resumed Prithviraj shoot at YRF studios and the team is excited to have a great schedule ahead.”
A period drama Prithviraj is a story on Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan who stood strong and battled against Muhammad of Ghor. The film also stars Ashutosh Rana in an important role.
