Pooja Entertainment’s Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, was released in cinemas, and the film opened to dismal numbers.
In a desperate bid to boost the box office collections and attract more audience, the makers of Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Raniganj have announced a special offer for the moviegoers. The film, which is based on the true story of Jaswant Singh Gill, who rescued 65 miners trapped in a coal mine in 1989, will have a ticket rate of Rs 112 across the nation to celebrate Cinema Week 2023.
In continuation of the cinema celebration from October 16th to October 19th, the makers along with PVR have decided to keep the ticket rates flat at Rs 112-. Sharing the poster on social media, Pooja Entertainment captioned,
“And our surprises for you continue at just ₹112/-* Book your tickets now and watch the story of Bharat’s true hero with #MissionRaniganj IN CINEMAS NOW.”
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor, the film, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and music by Jjust Music, promises to bring to life the coal mine accident that shook not only the nation but also the world.

Mission Raniganj Is Heading For Disastrous Lifetime Of Under 30 Cr Nett
The film has collected only 2.80 cr nett day one after rally disappointing advance bookings, which is a significantly low in comparison to Akshay’s previous films. Film grew on day two Saturday and collected 4.80 cr nett. Film added 5 cr nett on Sunday with marginal growth due to India Australia World Cup cricket match.
Film collected 12.60 cr nett over weekend. Film collected 1.50 cr on Monday, 1.50 cr on Tuesday, 1.35 cr on Wednesday and 1.30 cr on Thursday. Film had total of 18.25 cr nett in week one which is very poor.
Film will collect 3.75 cr nett on 2nd Friday due to National Cinema day advantage. Film has total of 22 cr nett and will finish around 30 cr nett lifetime. It’s a massive disaster for Akshay Kumar and second one of the year after Selfiee!

The makers had earlier also launched a buy one get one offer on tickets but wasn’t a major game changer for them.
