Hera Pheri and its sequel starred Akshay z Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, which released in 2000 and 2006, respectively. Part one was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 7.5 cr and earned Rs 17.8 cr, whereas Phir Hera Pheri’s budget stood at Rs 18 cr and collected Rs 69.12 cr at the Box-office. First film was cult and second was hit too.
It was scheduled to go on floors in October 2023 but began shooting promo on February 21 at Empire Studio in Mumbai, where they also shot for Hera Pheri in 1999. The latest bollywood news is that Sanjay Dutt will reportedly play a villain in the film.
“Sanjay Dutt has indeed signed the film. It is said that he’ll be playing one of the antagonists in the film. His character is blind and is quite quirky. He’s expected to add to the madness quotient of the Hera Pheri series,” Bollywood Hungama quoted its source as saying.

Hera Pheri 4 will reportedly go on floors in the next three months and its shooting location as Mumbai, including foreign locations. As per Mid-day, he stated, “The movie will also be shot in international locations like Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Los Angeles, as Babu bhaiyya, Raju and Shyam go abroad. They’ll do hera pheri globally.”
