When it comes to resuming film shoots, Akshay Kumar is leading from the front. He’s now working on Aanand L Rai’s film “Rakshabandhan,” and “Ram Setu” is next on his schedule. The film’s production will begin in September, and the new schedules are expected to be shot on open areas, thus the producers want to start shooting after the monsoon.
There have been rumours that one of the film’s schedules will take place in Sri Lanka. However, the island country’s 15-day required quarantine protocol may deter them from visiting.
A source revealed, “It is definitely a challenge for any actor to stay locked up without work in isolation. Akshay is raring to go, so there is every chance the shooting may take place soon and to avoid quarantine related delays, the film might be shot in cheat locations that could make up for Sri Lanka.”
After Akshay Kumar tested positive for Covid-19, the film’s last schedule, which was set to take place in Mumbai, had to be cancelled. After the second lockdown was announced in April, the set had to be demolished. The film’s muhurat was held at Ayodhya, with the two starring ladies, Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha, in attendance.
