Akshay Kumar, who played Lord Krishna in the 2012 film OMG, which also starred Paresh Rawal, is slated to reprise his Godly persona in the film’s sequel. The actor has started filming for the sequel, and he confirmed it with his first look poster.

Lord Shiva will be played by Akshay Kumar in the film. Akshay is seen in the ad with long hair and blue skin, evoking Lord Shiva. Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Need your blessings and wishes for #OMG2, our honest and humble attempt to reflect on an important social issue. May the eternal energy of Adiyogi bless us through this journey.”

Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi had previously completed the Mumbai schedule for the team. For the Ujjain schedule, Akshay will join the team. On October 13, the team was due to begin shooting for the Ujjain schedule, but it was postponed after a couple crew members tested positive for COVID-19.
