We all know Akshay Kumar is a workaholic. While everyone was home due to pandemic, he was the first one to shoot for an awareness campaign of coronavirus following all the safety measures. Now according to the recent report, the actor expressed his intentions to fly off to the UK/ Scotland in August to kick off his new espionage-thriller, Bell Bottom, followed by his back to back films.
While Akshay’s two films Sooryavanshi and Laxmmi Bomb are awaiting for the release, the Ranjit Tewari-directorial will be the first to take off now.
“The reason he decided to film Bell Bottom first is that the narrative does not require too many crowd scenes or large-scale action. Akshay usually wraps up a film in 40-50 days. This one will be shot abroad for a month, followed by minor spells on a set in India. If all goes as planned, it should be complete by the end of September. The team is currently awaiting permission to take off for foreign shores,” a source was quoted as saying.
After that the actor will move to another interesting project by YRF titled Prithviraj. The film is a period drama, around 40 percent of the shoot remains. According to the information, Khiladi Kumar will resume the shoot by the end of October this year.
Up next, the actor will role in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re. The film also features Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. The shoot for the film was supposed to start by April. However the makers have not yet decided when to start the shoot.
“It is an outdoor shoot across the country, which is why they’re yet to decide on the dates. It’s just two weeks’ work for Akshay and once the situation improves, he will work the film into his schedule,” says the source.
With all these releases coming soon, Akshay Kumar is definitely on a roll.
