Akshay Kumar is back on the set of his epic film Prithviraj after spending a few months at home due to the second wave of COVID 19. The actor has returned to Yash Raj Films’ studio to film some of the film’s visual effects.
As we reported yesterday, Akshay has returned to the set and now he will be working on some VFX shots for the film, in which he will portray King Prithviraj Chauhan of the Chahamana dynasty. Manushi Chhillar, who plays Sanyogita, will make her acting debut in Bollywood industry with this film. In addition to Akshay and Manushi, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij, and Lalit Tiwari in the pivotal roles.
Earlier the historical film has sparked a debate with the Karni Sena over its title. The film’s title was changed to ‘Hindu Samrat Veer Yoddha Prithviraj’ by the Karni Sena. Not only that, but they requested that the movie should be screened for the Rajput society before to its distribution.
In the midst of all the excitement around the film, Khiladi Kumar has returned to the sets to film for the last scenes. Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is directing Prithviraj, which is produced by Yash Raj Films.
Apart from this, Akshay was recently in the news when he welcomed Bhumi Pednekar to his other project, Raksha Bandhan. Raksha Bandhan is expected to hit the streets around the third week of June, according to reports. Following this, Akshay Kumar will join Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez on the sets of Ram Setu.
