Akshay Kumar’s next with Ranjit Tiwari is the remake of hit Tamil film, Ratsasan – shoot, leading lady & other details inside!

Akshay has already completed Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, and Atrangi Re, the superstar is currently working on Raksha Bandhan and Ram Setu.

While their first film, Bell Bottom, is yet to be released, sources claim that actor Akshay Kumar has already signed a new film with director Ranjit Tiwari. The team will start working on the untitled project in August. The film will begin shooting in the United Kingdom.

It will be a Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Ratsasan, which was released in 2018. In the critically acclaimed psycho investigative thriller, Akshay will take on the role of Vishnu Vishal. Rakul Preet Singh will be joining him as the female lead. The film is now under pre-production and will begin shooting in August in London, using the same bio-bubble methods as were used on Bell Bottom. The actors and crew will arrive in London on August 5 for a month-long production.

Ratsasan is a Tamil film, the story of the film revolves around a filmmaker who becomes a police officer following his father’s death and investigates the murder of schoolgirls. The original, directed by Ram Kumar and starring Amala Paul, was a surprise hit that astonished everyone in the industry. Later, the film was remade in Telugu as Rakshasudu, starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas. Its Hindi remake is claimed to have been given a different setting to suit North Indian consumers’ tastes.

When we talk about actors, Akshay Kumar is definitely one of the busiest stars. He has a lot of films in his hands at any given moment. While he has already completed Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, and Atrangi Re, the superstar is currently working on Raksha Bandhan and Ram Setu. Reports also suggest that the actor will also be seen in films including Oh My God 2 and Dostana 2.
