Alia Bhatt’s Alpha Trailer Drops With Sharvari, Bobby Deol Faceoff And Hrithik Roshan Cameo Ahead Of July 3 Release

Alia Bhatt’s entry into the YRF Spy Universe has arrived with a sharp, high-voltage trailer, and Alpha is clearly aiming to carve out its own identity before it hits theatres on July 3. The new promo throws Bhatt and Sharvari into a dangerous mission, sets up Bobby Deol as the threat they must stop, and ends with a Hrithik Roshan moment that ties the film more tightly to the expanding franchise.

Trailer Packs The Punch

The trailer introduces Alia as Sita and opens up the emotional engine of the story through her violent training and fractured loyalties. Bobby Deol plays a ruthless mentor who helped shape her into a killer, only to become the adversary she must now fight. Sharvari’s role is still being guarded, but the footage makes it clear that she joins forces with Sita in a mission that turns deeply personal.

The film leans heavily into scale and style, with chase sequences, hand-to-hand combat, and a polished action aesthetic. Anil Kapoor is also teased as a figure connected to the Alpha program, adding another layer to the mystery behind Sita’s past. The trailer positions the film as a “super fun, thrilling ride” and as a story that celebrates “the fearlessness of two girls, Alia and Sharvari.”

What makes Alpha stand out within the franchise is its core setup. The film presents “the first origin story in the YRF Spy Universe featuring a female assassin” and focuses on “the character’s training and transformation into a skilled operative.” Hrithik Roshan’s cameo, meanwhile, lands as the trailer’s final hook and gives fans a direct bridge to the wider spy world.

What Alpha Is About

Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is a Hindi-language action thriller produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The cast includes Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, with Hrithik Roshan appearing in a cameo. Written by Soumil Shukla and Shridhar Raghavan from a story by Uday Chopra, the film is the seventh installment in the YRF Spy Universe.

Going by the trailer, the story follows a young assassin whose training began early and whose past is tied to a shadowy Alpha program. As that buried history resurfaces, she is forced into a battle that tests identity, survival and trust.
