Alia Bhatt marked her 33rd birthday on March 15, 2026, with a move that felt equal parts personal and perfectly on brand for her producer era. Instead of a splashy party announcement, the actor and entrepreneur expanded the universe of her banner Eternal Sunshine Productions with a brand new initiative for children, titled Eternal Kids. The idea is simple but heartfelt: build stories that feel like childhood, the kind you grow up on and the kind you want to pass on.
The announcement landed as a warm, intimate note to her fans, but it also signalled something bigger. Eternal Kids positions Alia and her team in a space Bollywood rarely nurtures consistently: original kids’ storytelling with emotion and imagination at the centre.
Eternal Kids Announcement And The Three Projects Alia Revealed
Sharing the news on social media, Alia introduced the new vertical with a line that instantly captured the tone of the venture: “Introducing Eternal Kids. Where the childhood we remember meets the child still living quietly inside us.”
She also confirmed the initiative already has three projects in motion. “Our production company, Eternal Sunshine, just had a baby; say hello to Eternal Kids. We have three exciting projects lined up already,” she wrote.
The first title is There’s C and G and M, inspired by stories and characters created by her grandfather, which Alia says were foundational to her childhood. In a deeply personal note, she added, “Shaheen and I grew up on these stories, and now we are thrilled to bring them to you. Miss you, Grandpaa.”
The second project is OOLANGOO, centred on a mysterious creature so unusual that, as Alia shared, her mother had to invent a new word for it while narrating the tale. Alia also noted her mother wrote the story.
The third expands the world of Adventures of Ed-a-Mamma, based on the children’s book inspired by Alia’s sustainable kidswear brand Ed-a-Mamma. Eternal Sunshine now plans to develop it into a series, with more books also planned.
Alia Bhatt’s Recent And Upcoming Work
On the acting front, Alia’s most recent releases include Jigra (2024), which she also co-produced, and Heart of Stone (2023) on Netflix, where she appeared alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Before that, she starred in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) with Ranveer Singh.
Looking ahead, Alia has Alpha lined up as a major theatrical release. The Yash Raj Films action thriller, part of the YRF Spy Universe and directed by Shiv Rawail, is confirmed for a July 10, 2026 release, with Sharvari, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles.
As a producer, Alia and Shaheen Bhatt are also backing Prime Video’s Original film Don’t Be Shy, written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, under Eternal Sunshine Productions.
