The TV and film production which was halted since mid March will now go back on track soon. After the Government lifted the restriction, filmmakers are planning to resume their shoot with official permission.
According to the information Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much awaited film Gangubai Kathiawadi may be the first film to start rolling in Mumbai after Lockdown.
A huge set has been erected in the Filmcity, which is unused. Earlier there were reports that the set may get dismantled because of the monsoon however as of now the open set has be mom en covered up to protect it from monsoon.
About 30 percent of the shooting is pending for the film. The makers may resume the shoot by July in order to complete it by August end.
The initial release date of the film is 11th September 2020 but it may get pushed further given that the shooting is still pending.
