Recently increasing all our curiosity, Alia Bhatt shared Gangubai Kathiawadi’s motion logo on her Instagram account.
In addition to it, Alia also announced that the first look of her as Gangubai will be out tomorrow. This is the first time Alia is doing a film with Bhansali.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is reportededly based on the story of a brothel madam from the red light area, Kamathipura in Mumbai. She is one of the most remembered names of Mumbai’s history.
It is said that Gangubai has been pushed into prostitution at a very young age and became the most influential pimp. She had served several renowned criminals from the city. The film is inspired by a chapter from the book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai.
