The South Indian superstar Allu Arjun has become one of the most sought-after celebrities for brand endorsements, thanks to the phenomenal success of his film Pushpa.
Pushpa, directed by Sukumar, is a pan-Indian action thriller that revolves around the illegal red sanders smuggling in the forests of Andhra Pradesh. The film features Allu Arjun in a rugged and rustic avatar as Pushpa Raj, a ruthless smuggler who clashes with a powerful rival, played by Fahadh Faasil. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, and has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
The film, which released in 2021 shattered several box office records and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. The superstar also received a National award for the same and is currently working on the sequel to his 2021 action entertainer, Pushpa 2 – The Rule. It will be released in multiple languages on August 15, 2024. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.
Boost in brand value of Allu Arjun who now charges 6 cr per day

This is the highest for any South Indian actor. Many other South stars, who similarly became popular, are now charging 8 times more than their price 2 years ago.
The massive popularity of Pushpa has boosted Allu Arjun‘s brand value and marketability, as he has become the face of several national and international brands. Allu Arjun is the celebrity endorser for a number of brands and products, including Hero MotoCorp, RedBus, Hotstar, Frooti, OLX, Colgate, 7 Up, Coca-Cola, Joyalukkas and Lot Mobiles. Post Pushpa, he has signed on at least six new brands including Coca-Cola, Astral, KFC, Sri Chaitanya, Zomato and redBus. Allu Arjun also reportedly refused 10 crore to promote a pan masala brand.

Kiara Advani’s price is Rs. 1.5-2 crores per day and this includes photoshoots, store inaugurations, attending events related to the brand, etc. However, the source in the article claimed that several actors charge around Rs. 8 crores a day and even then they put stringent conditions. These conditions include not giving more than three days a year for work related to their endorsed brand, not changing more than two costumes a day, working for 8 hours a day, including travel time, etc.
