Since the nationwide lockdown has been enforced due to the coronavirus outbreak. Shoots of the films have also been put on hold and the production houses are facing for not following the schedule.

Now according to the reports Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi has incurred Rs. 5 crores loss so far due to the lockdown.

The makers have erected a replica of Parliament House at the Ramakrishna Cine Studios in Hyderabad. For the 45-day schedule which was supposed to kick off on March 10.

Producer Shaailesh Singh revealed that if the shoot didn’t complete before the monsoon arrives the elaborate sets will have to be destroyed. The producer also said that it would be quite expensive to reconstruct it.

Producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri was quoted as saying, “We have recreated Mount Road at the AVM Studio in Chennai, and had planned a patchwork shoot there. Almost 40 per cent of the movie is left to be filmed.”

Producer Shailesh R Singh told, “Our team’s safety is our priority. We had paid [the studio] for March, but were unable to shoot for a single day in Hyderabad. It’s uncertain when the lockdown will be lifted. Even if we get a 10-day window, we will finish shooting the outdoor portions.”
